Dress Code

For your visit to FHGC please note that any smart casual clothing is acceptable in the clubhouse, including jeans, but any form of headwear should be removed when inside.

Please ensure that mobile phones are switched to silent or vibration mode. They may be used in the hallways, changing rooms and when outside the clubhouse and for emergencies when on the course.

Metal spikes are not permitted in the bar or function room areas. Golfers are requested to change from their soft spikes during winter and periods of wet weather to prevent grass and mud being brought into the clubhouse. Clean trainers and pimpled golf shoes can be worn in all areas of the clubhouse.

Any recognised golf apparel that can be purchased from a professional golf retailer can be worn on the golf course. Gentlemen and ladies shirts designed to be worn in or outside the waistband are acceptable, as are matching socks of any variety and tailored golf shorts. Cargo shorts are not at present considered golfing apparel.
