Functions

We invite you to join us at the Club for your next event. Whatever the occasion we have the room -  Evening Functions, Wakes, Anniversaries, Private Lunches and Dinners, Awards Dinners, Club Meetings and good old fashioned get togethers and reunions. At FHGC you and your guests can unwind and enjoy our comfortable Clubhouse in a relaxed environment. The main Function Room, Coffee Lounge and Club Bar all offer excellent views overlooking our course and the Wye Valley. Our team will sit down with you in person and make the very most out of your event. Nothing is too much trouble and you will get the visit that YOU want.

Weddings: Please note that we do not offer a traditional 3 course wedding breakfast. However, if you are considering a more informal Buffet, BBQ, or Hog Roast then we would be delighted to discuss options with you, including approved external catering providers. 

Birthdays: Please note that we are a members club as opposed to a proprietory club. In order to maintain an excellent experience for our members, we are very happy to hold birthday parties, but only for those aged 25 and over. 

Please note that our clubhouse is not suitable for childrens' birthday parties.  

The Club Bars are well stocked and serve locally brewed 'guest' and national brand cask ales, plus popular brands of keg beers and lagers. We have a wide range of wines from around the world together with premium branded spirits. Our Function Room is spacious, seating up to 100 diners or 120 people standing, with an optional dance floor. For more intimate gatherings, we have our coffee lounge. This warm and light room is a truly wonderful setting seating up to 30 people for a sit down meal.

Within easy reach of the M40 your guests will have no trouble getting here. Come and enjoy our hospitality.
